Khobz Bread with Houmous
This simple dish features some of the most popular ingredients from Middle Eastern cuisines.

Method
Step 1
Cut the carrots and cucumber into small sticks, slice the radishes into rounds and cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Step 2
Place the khobz breads into 6 salad bowls. Divide the lettuce into six portions and add to the bowls, placing in the centre. Scatter equal amounts of the vegetables around the outside of the lettuce.
Step 3
Divide the houmous between the 6 salads, placing a large spoonful in the middle of each, and serve.
Nutrition
The houmous dip is a great way of eating two portions of your 5 a day – one from the chickpeas in the houmous and one from the dipping vegetables and salad.
