Harrison launches Family Recipe Club in Ealing
- Harrison
Get your aprons on and whisks at the ready! Harrison Catering is delighted to announce the trial of a new concept called ‘Family Recipe Club’, giving parents and pupils in our Ealing primary schools contract the chance to show off their culinary creativity. Managed entirely by Harrison Catering, this activity is designed to allow each school’s community the chance to share their favourite recipes, whether it’s a tasty family recipe that’s been passed down through the generations, or an unusual dish created from scratch. Each term a winning recipe will be chosen and that dish will be served to the school children of Ealing as a special theme day.
The process is very simple: all those who wish to enter have to do is visit the dedicated page on the Harrison website and submit a recipe to be in with a chance to tickle the taste buds of over 20,000 children. Entrants can even upload a picture if they wish to.
The culinary whizz behind each term’s selected recipe will win £100 worth of catering equipment to help them develop their skills even further.
Geoffrey Harrison, Managing Director of Harrison Catering Services, said:
“We work hand in hand with each individual school to make sure that they are given the opportunity to personalise their menus and input their ideas and this helps to create interesting and appealing lunch menus. Our Family Recipe Club is a fantastic way of encouraging local parents to flaunt their own culinary skills and have their say in what they’d like to see on their child’s school menu.”
