A team of chefs in work attire

Building young futures

Our love of the hospitality industry inspired us to establish The Geoffrey Harrison Foundation in 2011, supporting aspiring young people to advance their education and learning in the industry, providing valuable life skills and a pathway to an enriching, creative, successful career. Over the past decade, the Foundation has supported over 1,963 aspiring young chefs and financially supported many aspiring students through scholarship programmes.

Making a difference

Our approach to sustainability

We believe that we all have a responsibility to protect our planet now and for future generations. Working together, we can all make a difference.

Chefs Adopt a School

Harrison has actively participated in The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts’, Chefs Adopt a School programme, which supports our ambition of encouraging children at a young age to be curious about food. It delivers holistic food education in schools without needing a dedicated teaching kitchen. We are committed to helping educate children about food through our on-site catering manager. To date, we have engaged with over 9,000 children in our primary schools.

Supporting the English Schools Orchestra

Helping provide opportunity to talented young people

Since 1995, Harrison Catering has been a lead supporter of the ESO charity, which helps provide the opportunity for talented young orchestral musicians and singers to meet and perform with other similarly gifted young people from all over the country.

The ESO support young, talented musicians and nurture the exceptional talent that exists in our country’s young musicians so they can perform at their best. They offer talented young people still in full-time education the opportunity to perform with like-minded orchestral musicians. From all over the country and from various backgrounds, musicians gain experience, learn a varied repertoire, receive focused tuition in sectionals, and perform alongside sensational choirs in multiple venues across the UK and abroad.
