Geoffrey Harrison Receives EDUCatering Excellence Award

Founder and Chairman Geoffrey Harrison was honoured with the Special Award at the EDUcatering Excellence Awards 2014, held 13th October at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.

The EDUcatering Excellence Awards recognise the outstanding individuals who have excelled within the school meals sector. A panel of 28 esteemed judges from across the industry reviewed over 250 nominations to select this year’s winners.

The Special Award is selected by the judges to honour those who have made a significant contribution to education catering. In 2013, John Vincent and Henry Dimbleby received it for their work on the School Food Plan.

The awards ceremony, hosted by H2O Publishing CEO Alan Dewberry, also marked the end of Harrison Catering Services’ term as Contract Caterer of the Year, which the company was awarded at last year’s event.
