We are delighted to announce that our founder and chairman, Geoffrey Harrison, has received an Honorary Fellowship from the Chartered Institution for Further Education.

Geoffrey received this fantastic accolade at the Chartered Institution for Further Education annual Admissions Ceremony at Apothecaries’ Hall in London, where they confer new members, honorary fellows and fellows.

This Honorary Fellowship is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to Geoffrey’s significant contribution to education and skills development – an exceptional commitment that has made a lasting impact.

Reflecting on their father’s fantastic achievement, Joint Managing Directors Claire Aylward and Gareth Harrison shared their heartfelt thoughts:

“We are incredibly proud of our father, both for his lifelong career in hospitality and his dedication to inspiring and motivating young people with an interest in catering. His vision and passion have provided many aspiring chefs the same opportunities he had, enabling them to pursue successful careers in the vibrant and innovative hospitality industry”.

In 2011, with the support of Harrison Catering directors, his love of the industry inspired him to establish the Geoffrey Harrison Foundation, which supports and helps young people advance their education and learning and, to date, has helped over 2,229 aspiring chefs.

Harrison recognises the importance of inspiring future generations and is committed to continuing to help and encourage young people with a passion for learning to develop their skills and grow as individuals.
