Harrison Catering is delighted to share with you some exciting news that may beneficial to any students who are aspiring young chefs or have an interest in the hospitality industry.
The Geoffrey Harrison Foundation is proud to continue to sponsor the Young Chefs’ Academy, run on Saturday mornings at Westminster Kingsway College and the University of West London. It is suitable for students in years 9, 10 and 11 who have an interest in exploring a potential career in the hospitality industry.
The Young Chefs’ Academy is a fun and stimulating course that provides an opportunity to learn a variety of skills in a professional kitchen; from cooking and team working to time management. It enables students to find out what it is like to work in a professional kitchen before committing to a full time college course and teaches them valuable cooking skills for life.The Westminster Kingsway College have produced a short video so students can share their experiences of the Young Chefs’ Academy.
